Information for Junior Coaches
All our Junior Coaches and Junior base coaches are required to complete accreditation depending on the level of the team they coach. If you are interested in coaching a team for 2023/24 and haven’t coached before please check out the Baseball NSW link below and email amanda@long.com.au and we will answer all your questions!
Level A accreditation
Entry level baseball, all non-player pitch baseball (T-ball, machine, or coach pitch baseball), including assistant coaches.Level B accreditation
All player pitch baseball from Little League minors to senior (adult) baseball, including assistant coaches.Level C accreditation
Representative coaches, LL Majors up to and including State League, and State Teams. (currently only being offered as online component with practical component coming in 2022)All coaches including base coaches are to have the appropriate Coaching Accreditation.Note: In the RHBL the minimum requirement for a Base Coach is Level A.The RHBL Board passed a motion that they would reimburse coaching course costs for all coaches who complete course accreditation and coach a club or RHBL team within the season.Links to the appropriate coaching course are:
